Annual Benefit Concert
Each year one concert in the series is held as a benefit
for a local public service charity, to raise awareness and
forge relationships between the arts and public service sectors.
The 2010-2011 season benefit is a book drive for Metropolitan Boston Housing Partnership
at our concerts on May
21 & 22. Audience members who bring new or gently
used books for children or adults and receive
25% off ticket prices.

MBHP serves more than 7,600 homeless, elderly, disabled, and low-income individuals and families in Boston and 29 surrounding communities, ensuring that they have decent, affordable homes and choice and mobility in their housing. All of their programs and initiatives are designed to encourage housing stability, increase economic self-sufficiency, and enhance the quality of the lives of those whom MBHP serves, with the belief that everyone deserves a place to call home.
MBHP averages more than 800 visitors each month to the agency. The library is a unique resource where clients and visitors can borrow, swap, or simply keep books they find there. It uplifts the spirits of clients in the waiting area and entertains the children who come in with their parents.
For more information about the book drive, please call 617-427-8200
