Meredeth Rouse
oboe
Meredeth Rouse joined the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra
on English horn in 2007. A former member of the Princeton
Symphony, the Binghamton Philharmonic, and the Civic Orchestra
of Chicago, she has also performed with Boston Modern Orchestra
Project, Opera Boston, and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.
Ms. Rouse studied with Alfred Genovese at the New England
Conservatory and with Joseph Robinson at the Manhattan School
of Music, where she later served four years as oboe teaching
assistant. Currently on the faculty of Southeastern Louisiana
University, she divides her time between New Orleans and Boston.
